Tips, Hints and additional rules:
*
Creativity counts, however the judges must
recognize the slide as fitting the category.
* Play
with the word. Example "chip" could be a photograph of wood, potato,
computer, cow, or chocolate chips; the neighbor kid and his father (a ‘chip’
off the old block) and/or a golf shot, just to mention a few.
* Also
just because we have spelled one-way does not mean that is the way to use it. As
long as the word is pronounced the same. Example ‘red’ could be a photograph
of the color or an old book, ‘read’.
* Slide
mounts must be marked properly (a "how to" sheet will be included with
slides retuned for editing).
* Slides
can be projected for judging upside down, reversed or sideways, if that shows
the image in the best way. Remember to mark the slide mount to indicate this.
* No
masking, remounting or sandwiching of the slide is allowed.
* No
re-photographing of other art work/photos unless it is clearly shown that it is
another's work; i.e. show edge of frame, signature, or other identification.
* You
do not have to shoot the list in order, it is ok to shoot subject #1 then shoot
#5 then #14 then #3, etc.
* Keep
this list for reference when marking/editing your slide/entries.
