Other Awards Given by the 4C's
The Council may create awards as it sees fit. In 1994, the following awards were
created:
The Chairman's Award -
to be given by the chairperson to member of
the Council. The recipient is to be chosen by the chairperson using their
judgment. No other honor can be presented to this recipient that year.
Certificate of Recognition - This is an official "Thank You"
from the Council for service within the Council. This can be presented only once
to a recipient. The recipient will be awarded by the award committee consisting
of three members with one member being replaced each year.
Certificate of Merit - This will be awarded by the committee based on recommendations of any camera club within the Council who has a member who has served the club and photography "beyond the call of duty." This person will be mentioned at the Columbia Council of Camera Clubs. The certificate itself will be presented at the honoree's own camera club. Nomination Form.
The highest award of the Council will remain the Maxine Van
Hoy Award.
The members of the current Awards committee are listed in the annual directory.
